Map Making
The science of geography involves a combination of physical and cultural disciplines which are used to describe, explain and help us to understand our environment. However, it is cartography that is the essential tool for us to organize, depict and analyze this geographical information.
The purpose of this module is to provide both students and teachers with on-line, interactive information on selected aspects of cartography. Self-contained units on the fundamentals of cartography are arranged in a logical order for individual learning purposes.
