| This lesson gives students an overview of Canada’s international associations using the maps found on the on-line Atlas of Canada Web site as a research resource.

Main Objective
Students will use the online Atlas of Canada to successfully conduct background research on Canada’s international connections.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

- locate and describe Canada’s global position
- understand the importance of Canada’s global position
and the diversity of its connections to other regions
of the World

will use to find geographic information about Canada’s
international connections.
