| This lesson gives students an overview of Canada’s circumpolar region using the online Atlas of Canada as a research tool to gain an understanding of the geography and people of this region. The lesson examines the countries that form the North Circumpolar Region of the World, and focuses on the characteristics of this region using Canada as a case study.

Students will use the online Atlas of Canada to successfully conduct guided research about the geography and people of the North Circumpolar Region of Canada as a case study.

tool students will use to find and analyse geographic
information about Canada’s North Circumpolar Region.
