Audio Transcript: In 1751, Niverville sent a party of ten Frenchmen from Fort Poskoyac (at the forks of the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers) up the South Saskatchewan River to a point on the shoreline of the Bow River, where they erected Fort La Jonquière (present-day Calgary).
